CHECK: In poker, to remain in the match and not wagering. This is acceptable only if no other gamblers bet in that round.

CLOSING A BET: Like in spread betting, meaning to put a wager on par with but opposite of the first bet.

COLUMN BET: To wager on any of the 3 columns of a roulette game.

COME BET: In craps, similar to a pass-line bet, but made after the hurler has achieved her point.

COME-OUT ROLL: A crapshooters first roll to achieve a number, or the first roll after a number has been ascertained.

COVERALL: A bingo term, which means to cover all the squares on a bingo sheet.

CRAPPING OUT: In craps, to roll a 2, 3 or twelve is an immediate loss on the come-out toss.

DAILY DOUBLE: To pick the winners of the initial 2 races of the tournament.

DOWN BET: To wager that the result of an event will be smaller than the lowest end of the quote on a spread bet, also known as a "sell".

DOZEN BET: In roulette, to gamble on one or more of 3 categories of twelve numbers, one-12, etc.

EACH WAY BET: A athletic event wager, which means to bet on a group or player to succeed or place in a game.

EVEN MONEY BET: A wager that pays out the same number as wagered, ( 1:1 ).

EXACTA: wagering that two horses in a race will finish in the absolute same assignment as the wager – also referred to as a " Perfecta ".

FIVE-NUMBER LINE BET: In roulette, a bet carried out on a block of 5 numbers, like 1-2-3-0, and 00.
